There are easy and challenging ways to reach the summits in summer. Thankfully, there are numerous cable cars and lifts throughout the Wilder Kaiser Region, that provide the easier option, especially for children wanting to visit the many mountain theme parks. For those wanting a challenge, biking or hiking is the way to go.
During the winter season, skiing obviously dominates. The SkiWelt provides 270 kilometres of prepared pistes and 90 lifts and gondolas, which makes it one of the biggest skiing areas in Austria.
